Microdermabrasion
Renews skin tone and texture
Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that uses fine crystals and a vacuum to remove dead skin cells on the face. Another technique sprays particles of aluminium oxide or sodium bicarbonate onto the skin with a vacuum/suction.
The skin is our body’s largest and most complex organ and it comes with its fair share of problems like acne, lines, wrinkles and hypo-pigmentation. So what can you do to help combat these issues?
Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other skin-related concerns and conditions. After one treatment you will notice your skin feels smoother and your complexion looks brighter and healthier.
If you have a series of treatments which is highly recommended, 1 treatment every 5 weeks, you will notice your skin tone even out and you will see a softening of fine lines and wrinkles. Microdermabrasion can also help fight sun damage and scarring.
Although microdermabrasion isn't recommended for those with severe or active acne, a series of treatments can help reduce the formation of breakouts from dead skin build up and improve mild acne. It can also help reduce oiliness and make large pores appear smaller.
Microdermabrasion is considered a safe procedure for most skin types and colors.
